The children of the Kindergarten were interested in birds of prey such as owls, eagles and falcons. A representative from a nearby conservation area was able to visit our school and bring in some of these birds for the children to see. He gave us information on the birds, such as where they live, what they eat and how they hunt. During our play time that day, we used one of the Froebel Gifts, with which a 3-year-old boy created an owl with the help of his teacher.
